Sunday 30th June - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – mainly cloudy with light drizzel.

After yesterday really lovely but full-on day with Maeva in sunshine we were going to have an easy day especially as the weather was cloudy with a little drizzle! I did manage my exercises in the garden despite the poor weather, the wind picked up but offshore, also loads of wind going next week with improving tides so will wait! Mag was her usual busy self I the garden but had boiled some eggs for sandwiches. I made them and we decided to walk down to the seafront and have a picnic near Jacobs Ladder, the quieter end. I had hoped to go to Specsavers to get some prescription sunglasses but they now close on Sundays so we continued down to The Fludyers and found a quiet spot on the beach to enjoy our yummy sandwiches:) Well rested we walked back back along the prom and up through the Spa Gardens via the pram walk. We then spent a pleasant couple of hours with neighbours, looking at one thems art and celebrating another ones 81st Birthday!
